The main atrium of the C&RFPD Headquarters reflects the utilitarian sprit of the organization, but provides a welcoming space featuring the district's historic fire truck

The west facade is a showcase for the old firetruck, but glazing is otherwise kept to a minimum to protect from afternoon solar gain and highway noise.
